Multi-Modal Training Design Portfolio

Below are examples from instructor-led virtual training sessions I have designed and delivered on instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and engagement strategies. Some examples  of these presentations were delivered synchronously to professional development audiences, demonstrating my ability to translate complex learning science into accessible, engaging training experiences. Some were delivered asynchronously in the form of a webinar.

Topics include:

  • Game-Based Learning & Motivation

  • Dr. Merrill's Prescriptive Principles for Learning

  • Bloom's Taxonomy: Cognitive Domain

  • Adult Learning Theory & Instructional Design

Another example below illustrates an asynchronous, self- paced learning experience. For a view of the completely self - paced asynchronous learning experience, see the eLearning Course Sample tab.

I create impactful learning, online and in person, by:

  • Turning ideas into data-informed plans

  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and learners

  • Designing curriculum and materials based on industry standards

  • Facilitating engaging, effective sessions

  • Producing and assessing the full experience

Why Learning Experiences Matter

Whether personal or professional, learning drives meaningful change.

  • Want to teach an audience to build healthier habits?  The learning must meet people where they are.

  • Need to shift company behavior to reduce loss or boost revenue?  Effective learning starts with understanding the right problem and determining the right approach.

When designed well, learning becomes the pathway to real, lasting change.
